A family performs ghar sabha together.
Emphasizing the value of families, BAPS encourages parents and children to regularly hold ghar sabha—a gathering of family members that provides a platform for spiritual development and mutual understanding.
During ghar sabha, a unique initiative inspired by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, family members pray, read and discuss spiritual and inspiring literature. In this fifteen to thirty-minute session, they also discuss issues facing one another or the family to foster open communication.
- His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj (1971-2016)
The wisdom of our gurus teaches us that fostering unity requires genuine connections with one another. BAPS activities reinforce these messages through initiatives that help families practice daily rituals that help us strengthen these relationships.
